Impact

During the migration, the following IRC services will not be available :

• LDAP (authentication)
• e-mail (sending, retrieving, webmail)
• Mausoleum , BCCM/LMBP
• FS4 (M,N:-drives)
• IRCChat, WIKI , Schedule, KanBoard, Helpdesk
• IRCCloud
• Proxy (fs0)
• DB1 Database (Access)

Mitigation

• Do not use the aforementioned services during the migration procedure
• Consult this page for status updates

Issue

Several IRC services are currently unavailable.

Cause

While preparing for a server migration, a cable mismanipulation resulted in the interruption of virtual server hosting, causing outage of several IRC services.

Impact

Currently, the following services are interrupted :

• FS4 (M,N:-drives)
• Schedule
• KanBoard
• DB1 Database (Access , publicWWW, intraWWW/OLWOIS)

Follow-up

The incident was used to partially implement the planned server migration, which is now 90% completed.
