Objective

Transfer from the "irc.ugent.be", "fvms.ugent.be" and "dmbr.ugent.be" zones from UGentNet/DICT servers to IRC DNS servers

Impact

  • During and after the zone delegation, no adverse effects should be noticeable.

Mitigation

Zone transfer will be closely monitored by UGent/DICT and IRC staff (internet propagation of the change may take up to 24-48 hours).
